Block has officially integrated a new AI-powered assistant into Cash App, designed to provide users with instant, intelligent answers regarding their personal financial data and account activity.
Expanding Access to Financial Benefits
As part of this latest update, Block announced that this new program will extend eligibility for benefits under the Cash App Green program to approximately 8 million accounts, significantly widening the scope of its existing financial wellness offerings.
Enhanced Features for Teens and Borrowers
The company is also introducing a competitive 3.5% APY for teen accounts, which will be available without any balance limitations. This move aims to provide younger users with more robust tools for saving and financial growth.
Streamlining Afterpay and Borrow Services
This release further consolidates the platform’s ecosystem by expanding the Cash App Borrow product to 48 states. Additionally, users can now access specific Afterpay “buy now, pay later” (BNPL) features directly within the Cash App interface, eliminating the need for a separate login and creating a more seamless user experience.
