Didero, a startup specializing in supply chain automation, has raised $30 million in a new funding round to transition manufacturing procurement into an “agentic” autopilot system, effectively removing human intervention from the purchasing lifecycle.
From Request to Payment: The Autonomous Goal
“The goal is to go from ‘I need a good’ to payment without having to lift a finger,” Spencer stated, outlining the company’s vision for a fully hands-off procurement experience.
Didero vs. The Procurement Landscape
While competitors such as Levelpath, Zip, and Oro Labs utilize artificial intelligence to refine corporate purchasing workflows, Didero distinguishes itself by focusing exclusively on the complex supply chain. The platform is engineered specifically for manufacturers and distributors tasked with sourcing the raw materials and essential inputs required to build or sell finished goods.
Competitive Positioning and Market Scope
Didero faces competition from smaller entities that manage isolated segments of the procurement process. For example, firms like Cavela and Pietra assist brands with sourcing and price negotiations. However, Spencer notes that these providers typically cater to small and medium-sized enterprises and lack the infrastructure to manage the comprehensive procurement lifecycle—spanning from the initial request for quote (RFQ) to the final settlement of payment.
Customer Adoption
The company currently serves dozens of clients, including Footprint, a prominent provider of sustainable, plant-based packaging solutions.
